Ann Mount, Artist

Ann Mount, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, paints from her studio in Tucker, a suburb of Atlanta. She studied art at the Wesleyan Conservatory of Fine Arts in Macon, Georgia, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. Her paintings are in galleries and private collections in the United States and abroad. They are published by Bentley House Fine Art Publisher of Walnut Creek, California and distributed worldwide. Born and raised in a metropolitan area, Ann has been fascinated and challenged by the contrast of her city life, with the simple charm of country living. "I try to say something significant about a simpler time gone by. I would hope they offer more than a feeling of nostalgia…. but reflect a strength and serenity", Ann says about her art.

Ann collaborated with Ramona to create the "Expressions of Children" Collection of Borders and Art Prints.
